Kleemann or RennTech upgrades

Anyone out there done a Kleemann or RennTech upgrade?

I've got an 2003 CL6 and I'm trying to determine which brand to go with.

Powerchip is the cheapest at $2,500 just ecu not tranny upgade.
(Seams reasonable priced)

Kleemann seams to be the best from what I've researched (size, history ect.)

Renntech smaller, American company.

Any thoughts?????

I"m not familiar with Kleeman's history, but Hartmut from RennTech left AMG to form his company. I doubt anyone knows Mercedes/AMG better than him.

Through personal experience, Renntech has been very reliable and has great customer service. That would be our recommendation.

EuroElites also offers an ECU/TCU upgrade with gains over 60 hp and 120 lbs of torque (for the 65). We have a seven day guarantee policy, if you dont like it, you will get a free refund.

(Oh, and we have the dyno charts and clients to prove it)

Pricing for the 600: $4000 including ECU/TCU

Pricing for the 65: $5000 including ECU/TCU

What type of gains should I expect from the RennTech upgrade?

What should I expect to pay for the RennTech upgrade?

Warranty?

More information

After 2 weeks of doing my research, I found out that Evotech writes the software for Renntech on the 65/600.

As quoted in the article;

Quote "Still, software revisions developed by RENNtech's Hartmut Feyhl in conjunction with German software wizard Evotech increased boost from the nominal 14.5 psi to about 18" Unquote

http://www.caranddriver.com/article....rticle_id=7172

And a couple of MBworld members have informed me this information is valid.

In my opinion, the TCU upgrade is just as important as the ECU upgrade. I went with Renntech through AdamG. Very happy with results.

Does any one know what size turbos are in the 600/65? What is the stock boost on the 65 and what is the boost after the ecu tune?

I have a 2003 S600, and was thinking about the Renntech upgrade myself. If the Evotech upgrade is the same but cheaper, how do I get up with them?

Thanks

Spoke with Adam and Cory (Kleeman). Seems both are very standup guys. Will have to ponder my decision over the next week. One of them WILL make me happy, so thanks for all the help.

Was told by Cory that tuning the TCU can be difficult due to differences in every car. Is this a common issue, or something specific to Kleeman? I like that AdamG has a good reputation, but I feel more comfortable going with a reputable company that I can hold more accountable if something screws up. If this were my john deere, it may not matter as much
