anyone have part #for bix adapter for 03+ cl headlights??????

Did you find the part number?
I have a 02, and bought the 03 + headlight and fogs, looking for adapter. The shop said other way is to hardwire the harness to the headlight.

i just received wire kit im having them instaled tomorow the guy i ordered the lights from sells the adapter it is made in germany by brabus 198$ usd contact markus he sells them very fast delivery!http://stores.ebay.com/markus123dueren i will post photos when finished mike

this is great I plan on getting a CL in march. I only have 26k to spend so I am thinking I will only be able to get a 01 or 02 with low miles. I am looking forward to getting this adapter kit. Nice find.

does the adapter also work with just the headlights or does it also work with the fog lights.

the kit is a simple harnes that conects the sam computer to the headlights you will need to purchase two foglight wires part # 215 540 51 06 10.00$ a pice.i will post photos later today...

Did you also changed the front air dam mesh grill on the bumper to 03 look to make the front of your car look like at 03 and newer?

no, i have that bumper but it has a crack in it i purchased it on ebay for 120$ but i still need the grilles and fogs,iwas thinking about the 03+ rear bumper with the quad exaust i may do it all at once

Do you upgrade from Xenon to Bi-Xenon, or do you upgrade the complete lights from 1st CL series (like '00) to the 2nd series?

i had 01 lights xenon 'cloudy glass'' now 03+ bi xenon i belive all 03+ are bix. but im not 100%

If I understand you have now the clear lenses.

do you have to adapt the lights, or they fit directly?

go to this ebay store the guy markus has lihgts brand new and wire kit email him and tell him what you are doing www.Autoteile-Knefel.de you can get the foglight harnesses from your MB dealership...thos only
cost
approx 10USD each...the partnumber is 215 540 51 06 (you need 2 of
these)

I contacted Marcus, he wants $210 for the wiring harness if you don't buy the headlights from him. Does anyone know anywhere else you can go to buy the wiring conversion kits?

I just ordered the adapter from http://stores.ebay.com/markus123dueren I will let you know how it works out and I will post some pics when done
