this last sunday this stupid lady hit my car. the damage is just the left cornor bumper fender and a head lights little dent in the hood is in the shop now. the stupid lady car was a toyota highlander and the only think happen to her car was just a liitle dent on her driver's side door easy fix for her. Now for the cl no frame was bent, Now should i keep the car or trade it in. Since the insurance is paying for it i was going to tell them to install the newer lights and AMG bumper. And pay the for the right head lights.
What do you think what i should do. Get it back like how it was or just upstage it?
These car are made by a plastic cover. Cheap

Whatever there's gas in...
I think you should just get rid of anything you own with MBZ on it, hell..TRADE IT!
Do that same exact crash in your saab, then compare the two. Your CL did exactly what it was supposed to do; crunch up so you wouldn't have to so you could go home and blog about how your car is very cheap because it was damaged in an accident. You should be thanking your car, not complaining.

Trade the damn car in if your dont like it anymore - if your fed up with it and have your eyes on something new - but for god sakes not just because it was in a crash and is being repaired.

Didn't you just buy this car? This is your second post I believe about selling it, then keeping it, and now selling it again.

This, like many other of your posts, was started it seems just to get a response from everyone, and not to really add any value to the forum. Further, your decision seems to be the exact opposite of what everyone recommends you to do. Just noting . . .

When you were talking about doing upgrades since insurance is paying for it...you shouldn't be so sure that they will pay for upgrades. That might have to come out of your pocket...

What you should do is......
Take the car to your local mercedes dealer before the adjuster shows up and get an estimate. Then give it to him when he shows up and request the check be similar to the estimate. Cash it and fix it however you wish...otherwise get screwed and lowballed with oem headlights for that year.
Then...call em up and request the depreciation your car suffered for that stupid lady wrecking your car fax report...
Yes... they have to pay it.

You mean the old fog lights for the 2002' AMG bumper? Or the old fog lights from your 2000' CL500?
Correct me if I am wrong. I think these are completely two different units though.

the old fog light on the 2000 bumper fit the 2002 amg bumper i test mount it
direct fit. just waiting for the fog light grill cover.
i should get the grill tomorrow. if for any reason the grill does not line up then i would have to get the amg version. i did my research i seem like the amg fog light are bigger
fog light cost about 140 for one

Well in that case, good luck!
Please don't forget to post some pictures when you're done with it. I am sure it'll look awesome.![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
