CLK 55 AMG March 2000
CL 500 Wind noise- anyone else ?
Hi, everybody,

In 2000 I had problems with wind-noise at a new CL 500.
The noise occurred at the passengers-side window,
I sold the car very soon to get the CLK 55 I am driving now in Germany.

Has anyone of You had this problem recently with the newer cars ?

I have an '02 CL500. There is no wind noise on mine.

my brother in law used to have a 2000 cl500 and it was noisy due to the windows (on both sides) they didn't seem to close that well. his new 2003 cl55 is much quieter.

2001 CL500
wind noise
I have a 2001 CL500 and there is some noise on both sides, the faster I go, the louder it gets. Actually, my CL's cabin noise is much louder then my previous 2001 E430. Doesn't bother me that much since I always blast my radio...hehe....

My CL600 is very quiet - no complaints of wind noise.

I am thinking about a CL 600,

missing the 12 Cylinder - comfort more and more.
Seems so that a 2002 would be a good choice. After my problems with the 2000 model CL 500-new car taken from Stuttgart -I decided not to buy without a test drive any more and could save money too.

2020 S560,14 ml350, 03 sl55, silver, pano, slr cams, evo headers, lsd, 2019 s63 cab.
have a 2001 cl that had noise. mb replaced window trim on drivers side and
noise went down.
