W215 Rear Seat Space...

I can't really tell from pictures and other specs online, but I've been wondering how small the back seats and the rear space really is...

It looks to fit 4 comfortably. Can anyone tell me how easy it is to get in and out of the back? Right now I have a two year old daughter that would be in the back. I'm looking into an '03 CL600

Also, can anyone tell me how big the truck is...I see the numbers, I want to know though how big everyone think they are....

Thanks!!

The back seat is a good size. Getting out is annoying for a full size adult... but once you are seated it is very comfortable for a 2 door. I'd be surprised if it didn't have the biggest backseat in its class.

Im 6'4" and you couldnt sit behind me in my CL500. I geuss it depends on how tall ther person in front of you is.
The back of my front seat is inches away from the front face of the rear seat bottom.
I consider it a 2 seater myself. Although the trunk is quite large.

Thats true about the front seat actually. I'm 5 11 and there is probably 6-7 inches between back of front seat and the rear seat. or more.

Well, I'm 5'7" so there will be a little room back there for whatever. My real concern I guess is how difficult would it be to get my daughter in and out of the car seat in the back....

For a while, the CL was our only family car to haul my now 3 and 2 year olds around. Getting in to strap them in isn't the most glamorous of positions, but it's entirely possible. Remember, this is a large 2-door. The only issue was my daughters resting their feet on seat backs as they're pretty close to them when I drive (I'm 5'11'').

When I bought my CL, my first daughter was a newborn. I brought her to the dealer and sat her in the back seat of the CL with her infant carrier before I signed the check. She fit in there fine and the rest is history!

Also, regarding the car seat. I just go one leg in, strap the child in and done. The time it takes to strap in including moving the front seat back and forth is about 10-15 seconds.

Although not the same car, I had no problem with my daughter and child seat in my 84 500SEC. The only thing I would do for her was lower the front set back, as so she could see the road.
She actually liked the secure feeling, as did my x which made life a tad easier.

I'm looking into it. If I don't get the one I'm looking at, I will probably go with another Benz.

Yea, my daughter likes looking out of my car now. It makes trips better since she can look out. Of course it will all be a blur in the CL600
