Poll: CL55 or CL600 which one would you pick??
Just wondering which of these 2 vehicles would you choose if you had to pick. Just wondering. I myself would choose the CL55 just because it's AMG baby!!

Even though the 600 has a bigger engine I'll still take the 55 any day of the week! AMG OH YEAH BABY!

I went through this same thought process before choosing the CL55. The CL600 has a bit more leather and wood in the interior however, I choose the CL55 mainly due to the fact it is an AMG, is faster than the CL600, has the same amount of torque at a lower RPM than the 600, is rarer than the 600 and was CHEAPER than a 600 in the long run.

i voted cl55 (but i'm perfectly ok w/ the cl500 also). amg is nice. fuel efficiency is better on the cl55 than the cl600.
and the cl500 is ULEV, the CL55 is LEV.
the cl600 is TLEV (which i'm guessing is not good...)

Sorry, Jam, I'm going to have to be the lone dissenter here and stick with the CL600.
My reasoning? Although the CL55 screams 'exclusive' and 'powerful,' the CL600 resounds with a convincing 'ultimate.'
Personally, I'll take the 600 badge any day. Besides, I might end up giving AMG some business anyway, so it's all good. Ya know...maybe an SL55 or two... :p

CL600 Sport any day. The CL has always been the flagship of Mercedes...top of the line and the top model is the CL600, with the Sport Package it gets the AMG aero kit and nice wheels, plus the extra interior work that you don't get with the CL55, not that a CL55 is not highly desirable.

I love both cars, but the extra leather that is not available on the S55 makes the 600. Not to mention the turbine smooth V12.
Also, about the fuel efficiency, I'm guessing TLEV on the V12 stands for Transitional LEV? The V12's come with active cylinder shutoff which actually gives the V12 better gas mileage than the S55 on the highway.

I will always take the AMG vehicle
For the exclusivity, the workmanship, and the performance the AMG cars will always prevail. I just got my first one and have recently ordered a second. Im stunned with the performance although I also like the normally aspirated Benz's as well. Ive driven a friends S55 many times and I just love it as much as my C32. I have more fun driving my car but the level of luxury combined with the performance is breathtaking. Take the CL55.

This may be a little off topic but I decided to post it here because of the subjet on what one would u choose. If you had a S55 AMG and you got to choose a CL600 or CL55 AMG what one would you take? Also does anyone else notice this or is it just me that sometimes pics of S55's look real good but sometimes they dont look so good?

some look bad because they look bad..
No options, like skirts and other body cladding, make it look rather dull. looks much like a standard S500. So you could see some with it and some without and would look very different. I agree with you.. some do look awful. Im gonna post some pics of by buddies S55 in next few days. His looks like a beast... and it is.

I had a couple questions about the car from someone who has actually drove it or ridden in it etc. So if you have please tell me and I wanna ask a couple questions.

I voted on the poll but didn't put my reason. I would take the 55 because it seems like you would want something more sporty and faster for a coupe. Also it just carrys the name and it's AMG.
