New CL500 Owner. Have a couple questions.

I just purchased a 2003 CL500 and I have a few questions.

(1) Yesterday I got out of the car after using keyless go and a few seconds after I walked away the fog lights were blinking. I then turned around and locked the car with the keyfob and they stopped. Any reason why this would happen? I can't reproduce it.

(2) Are there courtesy lights (low level amber lights just like on floor board) on the rear view mirror? I don't seem to have any amber lighting coming down on my gear shifter area.

(3)Has anyone used an Iphone with the Argos Bluetooth system. Just wandering if it is compatible.

Is there something wrong with my thread? Please let me know. Just a newbie with my first MB. I thought someone might be able to help out with these issues I can't seem to find in the manual or online.

My '04 has a light on the center mirror that shines down on the shifter when the car's running.

Judging by your questions and your non-sense response - with your smarts(?) and charm(?) - what would be amazing to me is, if you have enough good sense to refrain from being so impudent with the MBZ dealer.

LOSERFARI - If you don't know the answer to my question there is zero reason to tell someone to ask the dealer. I had already done that first. My trouble with the fog lights do not appear anywhere in the manual and the dealer hadn't heard of it. Hence the reason why I asked a forum of people who supposedly have the same car. I was hoping one might shed some light on these issues. MF219 gave me good info. You on the other hand just waisted my time.

Keep this conversation civil. Everyone is free to ask a simple question here. If you don't want to share the answer, then move along without posting.

I have the same blinking foglight issue. I have to lock the door twice. Out of curiosity, does your trunk auto-close button work? I believe this may be related.

I would google regarding the iPhone and Argus. There will be threads all over regarding this.

The foglight issue has only happened once. I have never been able to repeat it. I am curious as to your foglight problem though. Does it happen to you every time you lock the car? Then do you hit lock again and it stops blinking? Mine was really weird. I think it had something to do with my keyless go and i tried to leave the car and lock it with the car thinking it was in accessories mode(i may have pushed the keylessgo button accidentally before exiting the vehicle)

BTW my truck open buttons do not work. I have to use the valet key to open the trunk. Its a little annoying.
