Trying to fit 22 wheels on a cl600?

Hi I am trying to fit 22 wheels on my cl600. I've seen this done and it looks great. How do I do it? What tips advise can you give me?

What size tires? Front / rear

I am thinking of going with vellano wheels

22's are WAY too big on a CL man. Keep it legit and go with 20's.

I don't think you know what you're talking about. 22s look retarded, its WAY too big.

What are your reasons? Because it looks good? 20s look awesome.

The cons far outweigh the pros. There's a reason why almost everyone who owns a w215 gets 20s...

I've had 20s before. They looked like 18s. But maybe I'll stick with 20s if it going to cause major issues.

it's cause I've seen some 22's on a CL before and I thought it looked ridiculous...try looking through the CL picture thread.

Don't do it-- they look like wagon wheels on the 215.

DO IT

Yo dont listen to these people. If you want 22"'s ill tell you how to make it happen

245/30/22 all the way around
22X9 rear
22X8.5 up front
splash guard modification necessary.... it will scrape.

If you get someone to shave some off it will be perfect.

trim the bolt that hangs over the wheel by virtually any body shop..and vuala.....

I got 21" rims just to keep the 35 series sidewall because you will pop a 30 series tire.
But i still say go for it...
splash guard modification necessary dont forget now...

22's are definitely too big. I would say stick with 20's and a drop. I think it'll look great just like many other W215 CL's.

Those rims are wak

These rims are terrible.. there look like solid POS. if your going to run rims get some hot 3 pc forged only...like mine i got 21" and they ride and look better than any CL with 20" thats a fact not opinion. if you want pictures just ask and ill prove

Ok Smart Guy

That was not clever or cute duckboy.

Here are two pictures of my car.

One with 20" with the ugliest wheel gap ever. made my car look like it fell short of perfection.

The other one is with 21" 3pc forged wheels with the lip painted custom the color of the car. No more ugly wheel gap. no expensive lowering modules.

22" are nice too. 21" are perfection for w215 cars. just take a look and judge yourself.
