You are making me miss my CL600. I want to get a 65 and send to Speedriven when someone comes out with a replacement suspension. I loved the car but I needed something larger. The fact that the car ate over $10K in maintenance costs over the last year of ownership did not help.

Thanks ...... The old chrome wheels looked pretty good in person, I had several people tell me I was crazy to change them but I'm not much on chrome wheels. No videos sorry.

There is an MB Tech here in So Ca that is changing out ABC cars to coil overs, so that's one option. $10K that's crazy I just don't see how that can happen ??? All ABC issues and dealer prices ??? Even so these are low mile $20K cars now, even if you had to put another $10K in one and I REALLY just don't see it, still a sick deal. I would never want to be the guy that bought new at $140K and took a $120K hit.

Replaced pump twice(Mercedes purchased the 2nd one), just about every hydraulic hose, both coil packs, and intercooler pump.

My car had all those items repaired already, that's one of the reasons I bought it.

Coil packs (under $1K each) and IC pump (under $150) are not that bad for a DIYer

9x20 et40 245/35/20 and 10x20 et45 285/30/20 and they fit perfect when the car lowered.

Thanks for the advice.. I'm looking at these Roderick rw6 rims they are mesh style concave. My buddy can give me a killer deal on the wheels. It's between that or the vossen wheels that are mesh too. I'm in a budget. After spending 2500 on Cls wheels that didn't fit my car... Don't mind me... Still trying to sell em!!!

If that on a 10" rear wheel you should be good, 295/30/20 tire might be a little tall I think 285/30/20 is more to stock size, but your tire guy can say for sure.

LOL here we go again.

You may have had AMG rotors and calipers on your CL600 also, but its not stock not even an option you can pick.

Out of your current wheels it would be CV3 or nothing for me the CV3 's just rock, so clean, simple, pure, just like the W215 CL !!

Got any pix of a lowered W215 CL on CV3 's ??

I had my Exhaust and SuperCharger done at HG Motorsports in La Jolla and they said they are experimenting with a coilover setup on a CL

Might want to ask them

for coil conversion... You zealand in japan has offered coilovers as well as motorized coils for the 215 and 220 chassis for at least 4 years now. They did the SL as well.
