using star diagnostic to disable abc warnings/other indication lamps
i know you can control certain features of the car using a tool like the star diagnostic programmer like the ride height, but i was wondering if anybody would know how to disable the ecu from "looking for" the abc system? i took my abc suspension out (replaced with shocks and struts) and would rather order the star tool and use it again in the future to control other features of the car than to pay strutmasters 400 dollars usd just to get rid of the abc warning light...

ABC Lights on S55 AMG
I have the same ABC light issue and was wondering if you removed the ABC relay or fuse or both? Any insight into this would be most appreciated. I don't want to drop $400 on the Strutmaster module if I don't have to. Thanks!

No sway bars as of yet. I took out the air suspension relay but the lights are still coming on. Going to have it cleared by my mechanic later this afternoon in hopes that does the trick. Will let you know.

i got rid of my red abc error by taking out both fuses related to abc system on the fuse diagrams found online. now i get one grey abc warning that can be cleared with the "R" button (just like a bad tail light message)
the only thing is since i removed both fuses for the abc to get rid of my error, my cigarette lighter doesnt provide power. maybe its unrelated

no sway bars, i would like to find a way to make some strut tower braces as it seems you could just un screw the top strut bolt on each side and place a bar inbetween the two just fine if it was cut the right length and had the correct holes for the tops of the struts. the car handles fine without them as the spring rate is somewhat stiff (about the same stiffness as the abc system but more forgiving on small bumps) but im sure the handling would be improved in heavy cornering/high speed lane changing with a sway bar set up. same thing with the rear but the particular piece would have to be fabricated in a way to not interfere with rear window

Edit - turns out I had a faulty connection in my x4/10 fuse compartment under my passenger floorboard. This caused my abc system to not "power up" and therefore the errors disappeared. I've read elsewhere that if you remove those two fuses the car will not start so proceed with caution

I was just asssuming you can code out the ABC with Star. I figured it would not be very difficult to simply change some setting from "ABC equipped" to "Coilover equipped" let me know if you find anywhere to do that
edit:oh, i just realized you were replying to somebody else

what he means is to unplug the A 032 545 54 32 ABC module located in the engine driver side fusebox
I home someone tries and succeeds but I have a doubt about white and red warning lights
It might work if you code out ABC with Xenty, you have that options in ME-SFI 2.7.1 engine module line 0217
let us know
I have no time for that right now

I took a look at the driver's side fuse/relay box. Could not see anything that featured that part number, nor were there any relays identified on the Fuse Diagram as relating to ABC. The only thing I couldn't identify was the part number on the innermost of the two modules. LOTS of wires divided between two plugs, one short (rearmost) and one long (toward the front of car). Photo attached.
