CL 500 (2003 W215). Range Rover Sport. Ferrari 360 spider. Ferrari F355 spider. MV Agusta F4.
That stuck in park thing question
Hey guy, this is a question for the guys who have acualy done the stuck in PaRK shifter removal. I am really dont need anyone who hasnt done it giving me links to videos and breif discriptions. Yes i have read the countles threads were this is done 
So i have loosend my center wood trim and the loosend the center glove box.
The problem i have is that because the stick is stuck in PARK, there is not enough room to remove the wood trim over the stick. There is to much sticking out from the rear of the wood radio console.
I have tried that stupid hammer on the shifter stick thing to free up the stick so i can remove the wood, butthat crap dont work.
I cant find anything about this in my searches, which suprises me.
Tips or coments guys?

As you were men, done it. Now i understand why the lack of details and so many views, and that sodding clip that conects the shift rod from the selector box......what the hell
For the record it was that peice of **** plastic bit that had broke. Mercedes.....German engineering and all that bolloxs

Had i come back and read the above questions. I would have happily done another one of my write ups, however because you were jumping to conclusions **** you. You do it. And FYI i do a siht load of write ups on various other forums helping others.

if you ever responded to the request for your fix nobody would be criticizing you. instead you completely ignored the requests, but seem to love being extremely combative. all you had to do was answer the question and that would of been the end, over and there wouldn't have been any of this bloodshed. sorry your so sensitive. i apologize.

And with that apology this thread has run it course.
Hopefully, fspider will post a write up about this as it is an issue that will effect every CL at some time if its on the road long enough.
