Upper coolant hose mystery
At least it waited until I got home to let me know.
The radiator was replaced not long ago. I have the receipt, and it appears new.
My question is on the upper hose, where it turns down, on the right side as you are facing the engine. Under the air snorkel. There is a plastic coupler, which has a thumb sized nipple sticking down. On this car, a rubber cap was placed there, which failed. The on line diagrams I am finding are showing this nipple with a 6-8 inch hose coming off. Where is it supposed to go?
Also, will losing the coolant trip the ABC fault system? These two things happened almost at same time.

second, ABC is in the right area facing the front of the car too
you might have liquid on the electrical ABC connectors
and if, like

suggest, you got liquid in the ABC system, you better stop driving and clean up the whole system

This hose runs from the top center, down the right side as you face the engine. The parts diagram of the hose shows another hose connected to the small spout. Not a cap.
Any help on what the smaller coolant hose should connect to? I'm thinking possibly the intercooler has been bypassed. I'll get it up in the air and investigate further.
I'll try and find a picture to post.
Is the correct hose diagram the one on the right? If so, where does the small hose (number 10) connect to?
