How to Reset ABS Light
Hi there,
I've noticed the ABS light on my 02 CL500 lit up on my dash occasionally over the past few months whenever I washed the car/wheels (not sure if it's just a coincident). Each time, I was able to turn off the light by turning the steering wheel left & right a few times but that reset procedure doesn't seem to work now. A few days ago, I've removed all the wheels, cleaned the sensors (there are only 3 of them, the left rear doesn't have 1) & the back of the rotors where the sensors are pointing at w/ brake cleaner then performed the reset procedure again it still doesn't work. Car is running great & the braking is also fine so I'm wondering if one of these sensors is bad but am not sure which one is used to monitor the ABS. Does anyone know? Please advise. Thanks.
