Sweet deal on a 2002 cl600 v12...does anyone mod these?

Sweet deal on a 2002 cl600 v12...does anyone mod these?

What is the upgrade path for one of these if i where to purchase it . i know the v12 TT is much better but i am getting the NA for much less. Do these handle nitrous well? What about bolt ons? I cannot find any info or anyone online that has a modded one . any advice will be appreciated.

Your right it makes sense but the deal i am getting is to good to turn down. So wont be doing the v12TT for now . Anybody else have any experience with the NA motor . I cannot find anything online talking about them.

it's just the same car as the biturbo, just with no turbos and a hundred HP less
so you can use a lot of the threats for yours

nobody mods the non turbo as far as I know
but you can nitrous it of course, problem is that is already a OEM very hot engine
and you could try to adapt a compressor on the top after you modified the hood

I've owned two S600 NA and two S600TT.

Contrary to popular opinion, the NA cars were very little trouble - much less than the TT's.

However, when they get old they're all walking time bombs, because the engine oil cooler always fails eventually, and you have to take the cylinder heads off to fix it, and that's a big, bad job. In objective terms, it's enough to write the car off.

The S600TT has fewer big problems, though everything suffers from heat, and you get continual problems with suspension and ignition. The S600NA suffers those too, but not as frequently.

Of course you'll have less problems without turbos
but also less problems with the GM V8
and less if you buy a DACIA

but if you want more and more HP ........

Are the cl600 NA cars that slow? I know compared to the TT it would be night and day but overall since the car is 4000pds does it drive like a pig? Not worried about the major issues as i have another car and can take my time with fixing. It is not like i will be racing with this car but more so spirited highway driving.
