Locked out of my CL600
OK, I'm locked out of my car. I could call AAA but I'm afraid they may damage something with their shim that they jam into the door at the window molding.
The car is in my yard so its not an emergency. If I called the Mercedes Benz dealership what would they do, get me a new key? Any advice or ideas will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Oh then yeah you are gonna need a new key to avoid damage. If the key is locked in the car, order a blade from your dealership, won't be too expensive, and will get you in the door. If it's just gone completely, order a whole key. It should come programmed.

be aware that many Mercedes dealers will not order you any key unless you tow the car in and they look at the car and the registration . It’s to prevent people from just walking into the dealer and ordering keys for other people’s cars

I can confirm I had a crowbar go in there and the locks are tricky on our S/CL's as they are fat and rectangle.
He pried it nicely but scratched my black moldings by the pillars since he didn't put a rag on his crowbar//it's tiny but I can see it..
If he put a rag it would prob be fine..i had some fat slob..he got my key out as I left it on the drivers seat haha and my battery was DC.
