Headlamp wiring harness for w215 2005 need help

Hey guys I’m trying to see if my 2002 cl500 would take a 2005 cl55 headlight the bottom plug looks the same.
there’s a extra plug that I believe works the auto leveling.
i searched the internet for the wiring diagram to see if the wires matched

There is no auto-leveling in the headlight assembly.

The whole car self-levels

Then the whole car does not self level.

There are no self leveling motors in the headlights of the C215 as far as I'm aware of

Yesterday I've taken the challenge to upgrade the projectors on my CL600 and I can confirm, there are no self-leveling motors in the headlight unit

what is the difference between the 2002 headlights and the 2005 headlights.
there is a extra plug and a extra pin in one of the connectors.
im being told that the newer headlights won’t work and turn on warning light on the dashboard
im am being told that the extra plug is for self leveling

Ah so, I do not know. I've seen people do this swap a couple of times so it's possible.

You might want to compare the wiring diagrams for the pre-facelift and facelift headlights and correct the plugs accordingly
