DVD Nav for '03 and up.
Twin-Turbo V12

Both are major improvements.

What model CL ? 500, 55 or 600 ? With that answered I can tell you the full list.

In 03, all CL's got a midlike facelift. New front bumper, headlights, foglights, mirrors. The interior was also upadted with a new swich/button design as well as a 16:9 widescreen COMAND.

The 500 engine stays the same throught the line. In 2003 The AMG 55 got a Supercharger and the 600 V-12 got twin turbos.

Other minor changes were introduced as well.

The COMAND system can be upgraded to the 2003 COMAND unit but you would also need various trim parts as well as the entire wood center console and switch banks from the 2003. The cost of doing all this would simply be not worth it.

Cool

go for the 02,03 cl more options, better value, your warranty won't expire as fast, and it just looks better, with the new tail lights, and clear headlights

I didn't want to make a new thread-
Were any of the front fenders changed for the '03 facelift? Would it be possible to put a 03+ front bumper and headlights on a '01-'02 without any body modification, ie 'plug-in-play'? Was the hood changed also?

Thanks

I don't see how the fender or bumpers are ANY different. Unless Adam knows something I do not, I believe they are identical. Only the headlights/taillights are slightly different. Taillights are plug and play, I don't know about the hedlights but to me its a waste of money to do on a pre-03 CL because it does not look all that different.
