722.9 transmission problems CL550 2007 AMG package
Greetings guys, I'm in need of some desperate help.
After taking my car to a drive in car wash for the first time, after starting the car later during the afternoon, the car transmission went into limp mode. Long story short, a certified mechanic came by after doing some diagnostics he told me the tranny plug was lose and water might have entered the plug and blew fuse #28. He changed the fuse and the car drove for a day without any problems. The next day after a cold start I drove out of the yard, the car changed from 1st to 2nd and than 3rd. When changing to third speed, the car went into limp mode again. So most probably blew the fuse again. What might be the issue with my car. I need your help!

Yes Guru except you cannot buy a 722.9 Plate from the Dealer so the only option is Used (good luck programming it) or a rebuild one but they cannot fix half of them (depending on the fault code) im shocked someone like you did not know this already about the 7 speed transmissions.
P.S. judging by what you wrote here it seems that you have no idea about 722.9 transmissions

I do it by remote
You just buy a used one from ebay
You can buy them used virginized from ebay
For other readers, this is a good example again that everyone who does his own maintenance should have a Xentry system and support if you want to be independent and free from dealers
pm me for help

Okey guys, update from the Mercedes Mechanic.
The conductor plate is f.... up. But got replaced not so long ago by the previous owner at the dealer. We will file for warranty replacement tomorrow. Fingers crossed. I'll keep you guys updated.
