Damn Farmers, the other party that hit me is All-State. My damn Farmers should be helping me out instead of trying to jib me. Maybe some ******* in the branch is trying to be the man and boss their clients around so they can save big money on their end...to show them that they are the big shot. Is time to call them and complain...between myelf and family we spent lots of money on these fools...from houses to cars... hopefully they will notice that they are going to lose a good customer and act up.

I've haven't been totally paying attention to this thread, so I'm sorry if I missed something.
Do you realize that per Daimler Chrysler, body damage to CL's is only supposed to be repaired by MB authorized CL repair centers because of the materials used in the body contstruction? There is a significant of expensive tooling and training required to get the MB authorization.
It appears that you have CA tags. My experience in CA has been that the insurance company must allow you to take it to the repair center of of your choice. At which point any further negotiations take place between the insurance company and the MB repair center.
I wouldn't even think of taking it anywhere else.

Looks to me they have his car off to the side so as to prevent damage...
A shi tty body shop would have the car sitting outside.

Well, I already learned my lesson. My lady have an FX45 and it was rear ended. We took it to a very nice and clean bodyshop but their craftsmanship suck...nothing was align. So hopefully this place can do a better job even though it look pretty crabby. I'm update my vehcile to 05 AMG kit..probably have to burst out several grand of my own.

So far the estimate is around $25,000. Parts for this vehicle are so costly. Just the headlight itself is a $1,000.

My estimates are under $10,000.00, and the DV is between 10-15 grand. The insurance company has advised me to get a written estimate on the DV and submit it to them, and they will respond with a settlement.

I will update everyone on the next step.

You might need to talk to an attorney and put some pressure on both insurance companies. If you wanted to get this fixed, fix it the right way and don't let them cheap out on it. Get it done at THE authorized repair facility for the CL W215.

Insurance Companies SUCK

Most insurance companies SUCK, don't get jerked around, if the previous post is correct about an MB approved facility, which can easily be verified by calling your dealer or MB, then I would have it taken there and get the work done properly. KEEP documenting your experience incase you end up in litigation.

MB does certify the repair process of the CL since the chassis is made using a different process so there's a whole other set of procedure for aligning it correctly. Moreover, I would raise hell if my insurance company told me they are going to use RECONDITIONED parts on my $130K car.

One of the damn Farmers adjuster wrote down to use reconditioned parts....man I was about to raise hell, but the body shop refused to do so, they showed me the list of parts and start laughing at the adjuster.
