Holy Cr@p
This car is amazing, faster than I had imagined, sleek, sexy, and one badass machine. Wife loves it, in fact she took it to work this morning while I am detailing her H2. We went out for dinner the last couple of nights, and the valets were lovin it too

I will take some pics today, so you can see how it looks now. It has the powder coated rims which I dont like too well and no tint yet. Limo tint goes on probably Wednesday, and I am going to the wheel shop tomorrow, maybe send mine out to be chromed, or put on some HRE's. Then the Renntech lowering module, and radar detector, and she should be complete. I will be able to have some before and after pics this way. I may need some help posting pics though.

Thanks again Vadim, really happy with the car, and your personalized customer service!!!!

Congrats on your latest ride. You must truly love black as the only "odd" one I noticed was the Cayenne.

Thanks Vadim

Modeer, I will shoot an od pic tonight, it is up to about 9700 now.

Meegle, yes, black is my color!!!

BTW to the group, I am selling my split 5 spoke AMG rims, I will post on the classifieds, but wanted to let you know they will be available. 20's are going on today Not sure what to ask, MB says they are $2300 each to replace, ouch!!!

I will post CL pics soon, for some reason, my home email would not forward to my work email. I took a bunch of pics yesterday, and will post in the link hopefully tonight.

okay so 9200 for a set of wheels....or i could buy a supercharger.....just why are those wheels so expensive...if they are so higly regarded and expensive why did you switch them to cheap chrome ones i am wondering?

No idea why they are so expensive, obviously, dealer mark up has a lot to do with it. I dont like them because they look dirty all the time, and are not flashy to me. I like the solid 5 spoke look, and am having the new ones powdercoated gloss black on the inside, and keeping the outer lip chrome.

Pics of my CL65
OK, here are some pix, not a ton of them, but It's all I have up for now. Also, close ups of the AMG wheels that are for sale, including the one blemish on the left rear wheel. The chrome 5 spokes in the first pic are getting powdercoated gloss black this week.

Thanks,
Dave

I can't give you an exact cost since I had them put into a package deal (Evosport) which included rotors, stage 2, and cooling but I do know that I got them before the price increase. For the best price right now I would check with some of the sponsors on this site or Peter at Wheelexperts.com.

Nice ride! I know what you mean about those stock wheels. A customer bought a set for his CL55 and wrapped them in PS2's. I couldn't believe how much he spent on them.....
