giggalo,

I suspect the results would be close...possibly with a slight edge to your car. Do you have any 1/4 mile or dyno results? How do the Goodyears hold up to all that torque?

the car put 501hp to the ground on a 87 degree day. i suspect with the temperature adjustment it will yield another 20-25. The guy at the dyno shop said that automatic trannys lose 20% from the motor to the wheels vs 15% on a stick. i have not gone to the tracks yet. there was a guy named ben treynor that had a S600TT rennteched and he ran a 11.4 1/4. (On slicks)

the Goodyears are kinda Lame but i havent tried annything else since i bought the renntech rims with them on already. I will definately go PS2 next time.

More important than the 11.4 sec ET is the mph, which reflects power vs just traction. The '65 AMG cars run in the low 120s stock, and your car should be right there as well.

I'm thinking about replacing my Pilots with Pirelli Corsas....if you try those, you will be smoking any AMG car with stock tires off the line.

He ended up getting a SL65 and rennteched that as well, i dont think it was any faster.
