Safety recall 2007 060002
It seems that one of the high pressure hydraulic lines on the ABC system can degrade over time and leak, spraying hydraulic fluid on your catalytic converter resulting in a possible fire.
This is on the S and CL's from 2000 to 2004.

CLK&SLK is correct. The recall on the ABC line is more than a year old and I got the recall notice on my instrument cluster around 8 or 9 months ago. I assume they are resending notices to those that didn't get them replaced on the first recall or did they expand it from the 600 to the other models?

The notice that I received by mail yesterday only mentioned the CL and S classes.
I had my car in for service 2 weeks ago and I would have expected them to catch it then, especially if it's old.
I also searched this board and didn't find it.

I know what you're saying but some dealer are F#%#%CK IDIOT !!! Check out my story even when I faxed the paper over to my dealer, they still came back and told me that NA Mercedes didn't approved for warranty repair on the cluster instrument.

You should also recieve a letter regarding to the "cluster instrument" too. Btw, I didn't get any letter for both recalls yet either !!!!

I just got the letter also. The letter says the fix shouldn't take longer than 2 hours. Im taking it in later in the week.
