Thx for the update; heard a few of the 40Anniv and other, non-Anniv 65s are at port.
Looking fwd to driving this CL65....perhaps first AMG chassis well-designed/titrated w/65 motor in plans from start....will be intrigued by relative nose-heaviness/steering feel and traction vs CL63....

Not that I know of...my dealer hasn't rcvd a response from NJ yet re: exact release date...but would suspect within few days, as CLK63BS were just released from port....
If I recall correctly, pricing is just under the psychologically important $200K lvl....only options are cf exterior/interior trim and iPod....perhaps an option/choice of codgerly wood steering wheel (like S65's) exists as well....
Heard from several sources that saw 40Anniv in-flesh/outdoors that car's paint/interior color choices will appeal to a "Bentley-esque" crowd.....i.e., post-menopausal aspirational buyers w/dubious taste....not a small mkt in certain locales.....

Notice that for '08 MB is shipping all S65s fully loaded w/only option being iPod....and loaded '08 is some $3K cheaper than loaded '07 S65....
They'll likely have Designo option available soon....but have never seen a Designo color combo that doesn't appear crass....and that's another $10K option w/$0 value upon trade-in (esp relevant for those who get rid of cars before lease end....2yrs is too long to put up w/any car)....
I'd rather pay $10K to get rid of the tacky quilted leather crap, which only a >70yo grandma may appreciate.....whatever happened to a simple silver/blk or blk/blk w/high-end leather (600/65 fine-grained leather is excellent) throughout, w/o this girlie quilting pattern?....w/cf or blk wood interior trim, not codgerly poplar/burled walnut, please....
