Taking delivery tomorrow - cl 55 amg.
Saw my car today, "Bones" comment on the rims is almost correct, however, the rims on the 03 cl 55 are not the same as last years. They are slightly different.
All in all the car looks fantastic. Beautiful new nav, great seats, awsome motor and when we started the car, holy Shhhht.
Will let you know how it rides. Picking it up at 10:00 am.

2003 CL55
Congratulations Max! New nav? My dealer just told me that my Feb build CL55 will have the existing CD Comand. I hope that he is wrong. He said that because of the CD set in the order guide for national coverage of nav system. Also, are the wheels the dual/five spoke type that are shown in the brochure or the narrower version of the five spoke that where on 02 and earlier models? Looking forward to your pics!

Picked it up 11-15-2003.
Guys let me tell you. This car is out of control.....
The Nav operates off of the Cd based system. However, big deal. I will tell you this. Get the voice activated phone it is excellent. Additionally, the rims are not the pics that they have been showing, but instead, a narrower version of the regular amg of the past.
Performance!!!!!!!!! This car smokes. I had a C4 with some work done, and let me tell you. This car is quick and fast. I did try a turn off a highway ramp which i always did with my C4 and the mercedes handled it very very well. This car is also very heavy.
I am from Northern NJ and my dealer is Benzel Busch. They are the largest dealer in the Northeast. Excellent explanation of all of the cars options and the command features.
I will get a camera on it in the next few days and post some pics.
Silver Exterior, Charcoal Int. Finally, I think the F1 shifting system, when the set up is in Manual is out of control. I believe this car will do the 0-62 in 4.6 that they claim.

Ok a few questions:
1) Were you told anything about the DVD NAV system? Will there be a future upgrade for the car?
2) What do the wheels look like? I thought they were gonna be the new twin spoke wheels.
3) When you say "out of control" do you mean that in a good way or a bad way?

No twin-spokes???? Thats a real disappointment. The CD-Based Navi im learning to accept and im sure the engine will more than make up for it. Anyways.....any new updates or more info....keep it coming.......
