AUX in the front compartment
I visited the MB dealer today, i was checking a new 03' 600 CL (loaded), i must say that the NAV has improved (easy to function)
but i noticed that there was an AUX in the navigation com.
then i checked the front comp. and found (in the left lower corner) that there was a Lt & Rt inputs.
so the Question is:
what are the variuos applications that can be used with AUX.
MP3's..?? for e.g.

Seems to me that I read somewhere, maybe germancarfan.com, that European versions of Comand had a provision for TV. Perhaps that is the purpose of the Aux that you saw.

That is because the 2000-2002 CL/S Class did not have a AUX button. Therefore no AUX inputs.

There is actually an unmarked button on the 00-02 CL's command unit that is an auxi input. But to access it you have to get into the brain in the trunk. I have seen it done. I have even seen TV on the older Command. Euro units have them and you can actually get the parts and install it in a U.S. unit.
