CL55 delivery question...

CL55 delivery question...
Well my CL55 is supposed to be arriving in the next few days. However, I have not heard anything AT ALL from my dealer. I am always the one that goes down there and asks what the production date is, progress, etc. I went over a month ago and my salesman just pulled out the papers and said my production date is Nov. 20th. Do your dealers call you at all to give you any updates?? I feel really disappointed with my dealer not telling me anything at all and not giving me any kind of information. Is this normal??

Sometimes salesman don't track the car and really only care once it hits the port. If you call your dealer they should be able to run the VIN via Netstar and tell you where the car is. My CL was built in Early Novemeber and hit the port in Los Angeles Mid December. So, 6 weeks seems to be the average time from Build to Port.

Like I've mentioned before,my dealer is great but he also has never called me with any updates,only when the car was not delivered in expected time,he started actively checking by phone with MBUSA.Normally they call you when the car is physically on their lot.

Yeah, they might have. What's done is done though and what I care about is the car being in my garage by friday.
