haha...FloridaE55 good observation...picked it up at Crown started off at $75, then $69, then $59...i got it in the 50's...its the only one I could find 1 owner, low mileage, with warranty...not bad for a $188k sticker'd car...it was on the books as heading to the auction if it didnt sell...this car is SO clean its almost an insult to refer to it as "used"

bigben320e - I'm in atlanta a lot...please let me know if there are ever any amg/mercedes meets or anything...I'd love to come meet other owners

the ONLY thing I have not been impressed with is the navigation...it only shows major roads...most of the time I'm just a floating arrow in a blank screen...no roads the Lexus nav is SOOOO much better...I'll have to do something about the CL nav other than that, I'm loving the car...it feels soooo good to have that much power again
Congratulations and welcome to the V12TT club. I also hated the navigations system so I couldn't help but upgrade and it really made a big difference to me. I pulled out my command unit and put in a Kenwood DNX 8120 touch screen command with a dash kit that makes it look OEM. I added both front and back cameras, 2 Alpine amplifiers, Alpine 14" subwoofer in the trunk, and replaced all the Bose speakers with Alpine. Command has Sirius and the best integrated I-Pod interface to date. This really made the car enjoyable to me and was worth every penny. Very soon I will be upgrading to the package Marco (another forum member) has that gets his car to trap 130mph in the 1/4 mile with a consistent time of 10.7x seconds. To me this is Nirvana!!! Good luck and enjoy the car.

I already tried zooming in as far as it will go I guess they dont have the street data because i'm not in a major city...

Larry, that sounds like a really nice setup....I was eyeballing the Eclipse AVN6620...I've found the dash kit...does anyone know if they make a wire harness for the stock stuff...or would I have to do as you did and replace all the stock speakers/amps? My bro owned a stereo shop years ago so installation doesnt scare me but my lazy side would really like a plug and play wire harness with a new headunit with built in nav

thanks guys

Ever been to the drags?? There is a meet being organized by another car club for a drag day at Silver Dollar....not too far from you on the Southside.

Look in the "Events and Gatherings" section of the forums.

congrats on the car Doug....

I have been researching for about 6 months now between the 65 and 600....for my budget, looks like I'll go 600 and then take it over to VRP since they are so close to me and the great reputation they have.

Regarding Lexus GPS systems, they truly are the best OEM systems out there.

Actually I've been looking into widening the factory rear rims to fit wider tires...but I definitely like the look of the stock wheels
