My 05 CL65 AMG - picked it up Monday
Hi everyone...new member here...just picked up a 2005 Mercedes CL65 AMG...silver/ash 1 owner with 21k miles, 2yrs warranty left (certified vehicle) 
every option (distronic cruise, parking sensors...)

Thanks everyone I've seen posts about the ABC :/ I'm hoping that if anything will go wrong with it, it will happen within the next 2 years and be under warranty 
either way, i am enjoying the car...V12Godspeed is right...its a beast! Its the power of my single turbo Supra, with the ride and luxury of my Lexus

Thanks I have all the records from regular service at the dealer from the 1 previous owner...with only 21k babied miles i'm hoping i wont have too many problems out of it...I take good care of my vehicles

haha yeah...but I put almost $10k in my Supra so I'm no stranger to a wallet-sucking car...I'll just have to keep those ABC/steering pump hoses clean, tight, and fresh and hope the sensors give me good life before going bad on me
MNM5ETR...dunno...but when I do I'll be sure to share Havent been since my Supra days. Would be a nice feeling to go down the 1/4 again.

Doug- good thing your car is CPO'd, if anything comes up you have no headaches, just take her to the dealer and complain...they should replace the whole thing.

I have been watching the market on these cars and they are selling very quick lately mostly because of the price drop and a lot of people seem to have been waiting for the upgrade and the time is now--- no other car delivers like this car - it is a supercar. And with less the 700 built in 2 year production. It truly makes the car rarer then hell
Fact : The 65 motor is the most powerful engine ever installed in a true production vehicle. The only other car that is more powerful is the Veyron yet at only 300 samples being built and they have not all been built as of yet it is not classified as a production car more like a custom exotic
Torque moves a car. Horepower keeps it accelerating at a higher velocity. The Cl has 740 lbs of torque. Nothing built has that PERIOD

Now that car looks exactly like a CL65 that was offered by Crown in St.Petersburg, Florida..
Let me guess - you bought it there...
Last price they advertised was $59K (after advertising $69K)- if it really was their car, do you mind me asking what you paid for it?

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone...reminds me of my Supra days when there were a lot of enthusiasts...I was hoping the CL65 AMG would have a good community.
haha...FloridaE55 good observation...picked it up at Crown started off at $75, then $69, then $59...i got it in the 50's...its the only one I could find 1 owner, low mileage, with warranty...not bad for a $188k sticker'd car...it was on the books as heading to the auction if it didnt sell...this car is SO clean its almost an insult to refer to it as "used"
bigben320e - I'm in atlanta a lot...please let me know if there are ever any amg/mercedes meets or anything...I'd love to come meet other owners
the ONLY thing I have not been impressed with is the navigation...it only shows major roads...most of the time I'm just a floating arrow in a blank screen...no roads
the Lexus nav is SOOOO much better...I'll have to do something about the CL nav other than that, I'm loving the car...it feels soooo good to have that much power again

I knew that car looked familiar...It was on Autotrader and cars.com for quite a while and I noticed it BECAUSE it was CPOed (only a few of them are) AND so close to my area..
Enjoy your new ride - I'm sure it won't be difficult..
