08 Mystic White CL65!!
Made a deal with a dealer yesterday. I was looking for a preowned but the discounted price on new was almost 60 cents on the dollar! Yea baby!
I'll have two AMG's now.... damn life is good and all the hard work of being a business owner is paying off. Anyone out there that reads this please don't ever hold back from going after your dream! We live a great country were capitalism creates so much oppurtunity.

Number two- You seem to be a very excited business owner!. Care to chime in on what type of business you are doing? maybe some of us could get insight on what is booming right now. It is definitely a weak market for many business at this point.

Congratulations on both success stories. I am waiting for an 08 to come off lease soon. I would appreciate some negotiation ammunition, so if you could quote prices, I would appreciate it.

Congrats...I sold one of those and it is quite possibly the best looking car I have ever seen...owner has had it almost 2 years now and it maybe has 800 miles on it.

Just to give you an idea.... I almost purchased a preowned 08 Mystic White with 9K miles. The asking sales price was 139K that I passed on a final bid of 132K. Delivery date July/08Brand new the designo package cars average 209K Window sticker. A 77K hit in less then half a year.... Ouch!! Non-designo cars are going being sold whole sale for 110K-120K. If you find the right dealer, you can buy one new for 140-150. And trust me.... Most of these new ones have been sitting at these dealerships for over a year.

The company I founded provides document management for the construction of Oil and Gas pipelines. Business is strong but very cyclical. Major projects have a life span of 2-4 years. Houston economy trials the rest of the USA by about 1 year. So.... we shall see.
The advice that I'm hearing right now is to find stable investments on undervalued & oversold markets. (real estate etc..) Make some solid investments so when inflation hits, you can ride the upside. You might be like me right now and sitting on the sideline with cash but that does you no good when inflation goes up!! I have never been the person to leavage myself but if I ever did, now is the time..... Crazy to think about.
