HELP all CL65 owners

Thanks guys, now I smell a rat!!
I sold my CL65 to a main dealer 4 months ago, I think the guy who bought
it has taken it back for some reason, now a new guy is interested so he
phoned me and asked me why the speedo only went to 160 mph and it
has not got AMG anywhere on the instrument cluster. It definitely had
a 65 engine,but I have a feeling it may have had replacement dials that
are not AMG, so I smell a rat.

The W215 CL clusters have been known to fail. Did you purchase your CL65 used? The prior owner/dealer may have screwed up thinking that a CL600 cluster on hand was the same.

yes I bought it used, I was second owner it was 4 years old and had
14k miles. I guess they could have put a 600 set in but it sounds more
sinister to me. The dealer had it stock for nearly a year and could have clocked up 20k easy, then replace the clock. Perhaps I am too suspicious
but I want the new guy to buy it because I have 2 new PS2's I want to sell.
