CL55 AMG door driver's door controls not operating

Hello,

I have the following problem with my CL55 AMG '02. Driver's side door controls appear to be dead, they are not operating. I cannot adjust or use any of the functions that are linked to driver's door. I have checked all related fuses, swaped to a new ones and still same problem.

Does anyone had same problem before?

You will need replace the door SAM control module, common problem. Does your window go down when you open the door?

also may have an issue with the wiring to the drivers door. CL's have an issue with the door harness' wires getting torn and chafed which can lead to multiple issues in both doors.

I found it!!! it's seat control module A$1600 to replace w/o labour cost.

Anyway, already purchased it and waiting for my mechanic to install it.

The old control module was covered in white kinda stuff. which is a clear sign of water getting into it.

That's another story. I suspect that somehow window grabbed upper lining near mirror and wasn't closed properly. So water got inside during the wash of the previous owner.

I experienced that same problem when I had someone tinting my glass for me. While he was spraying the soapy liquid, it ran into the door jam causing the control module to malfunction.
