Dealer gave me the VIN for my 2011 cl63....

Now I want to track it..

Can anyone tell me how to do it..

It's quite easy with BMW's through owners circle but does MB have similar stuff..

I'd like to follow the car as it gets to me... I'm thinking VIN was assigned as most of car was assembled at MB factory and now car is off to AMG center.. unless of course AMG does it soup-to-nuts which I doubt

VIN is not enough here,other info is required to track the shipment.

Insert the VIN to the right of "cargo ID" and press the "Track" button. I just did it and it works fine.

Finally saw a 2011 CL63 AMG at the LA Auto Show. New outside styling ROCKS. Inside is essentially the same. But we knew that. Cannot wait to drive the one that's supposed to be delivered Wednesday.
Also impressed by the E550 and especially the E63. Optioned out you can p/u an amazing rocket for about 100K.

Pretty specific....

My search gave nothing.. Mine is probably still being assembled by AMG and still hasn't made it to a ship.. I hope the Germans don't drop the ball and keep me from getting this car until the New Year...

I also wonder how many of the 11 Cl63 will be sold - It'll probably be 500-3000.. It'll be interesting given the ongoing economic blues of the world - although seems like the rich always get richer anyway despite all the outward crying games

I suspect the total number for '11 CL63 will be closer to 500 rather then 3000,dealers are receiving just a fraction of allocations for these cars they were getting in previous years,2008 in particular.

Tracker says the ETA in Baltimore is Nov 28th,talked to my dealer yesterday and he expects to see the car within 10 days later.
I hope my new Winter Vossens will be ready by then.
