Best Way to Launch the Car?
I've been messing with some of the mode's that my CL55 came with and I was wondering what the best way to launch the car was.
I know there is a "comfort" mode, "sport" (called Standard in the manual), and a "manual" mode.
Is it better to stay in "sports" mode and use the paddle to shift down to P/S 1? Or just launch in that mode as it is?
Or use "manual" and launch from there?
Any advice or suggestions would really help...thanks

Try this
First of all get the best gas. Then put your sports mode on.Don't play with shifter leave it as is. Turn traction off.Put your feet on both pedals.Give some gas just over 1000-1200rpm and release brake as you give gas. This will work only with great tires and allow you to stick inted of slip.If you spin to much thats becouse you giving to much gas. Floor the pedal gradualy this will allow you to lounch quicker

Thank you for your reply. I always fill it up using Mobile 91....

I will try this out today after I end work thank you!!

try this
Yes that is correct. It will take you some time to realy feel the power your car puts out. You will get to know your car and dont forget that roads have different pavement old, new, more oily .ec..... But once you will get it together your lounch is in your hands (feet) and nothing but cops can stop you.

lower tire pressure in the rear ...put car in dyno mode, do some good burn out; warm up the tires.. and let it rip....if you're asking then u shouldn't turn off traction control, you're might side-swipe and crash...
