BTW...........
Hope you got the swirl marks out of the deep black color. If not, you may wish to try an orbital buffer like they sell at Groits Garage. I got one and it takes the finish to another level.
If possible, can you share the price and the extended warranty stuff with us?
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Funny, I do have Griots products. The three and six inch orbitals. Cleaned and clay bar, then I used the number two polish on some areas but mostly their number three. Then the wax technique as described in one of Griots videos using their best of show wax and then the spray on was to dissolve all the layers. I drove it to the Griots flagship store in Tacoma. They had me pull it in their garage of all garages. They demo'd all of their products on my hood. I picked up a 415 dollar package that included both orbitals and enough supplies to fully detail at least four cars...maybe six.
I got a Fidelity warranty with the car. Seven years, 70k miles with a 100 dollar deductible. It's exclusionary and the paragraph of exclusions is very very small. It's the platinum level of coverage which is the best you can get. I got it very cheap through Fletcher Jones in Vegas. I happened to be the one that they had to sell to get to a certain bonus level. They sold it to me for under 4k. No kidding. I'm so stoked to have such awesome coverage for so long. I don't want to talk price of the car really, to much opinion on that topic, and I'll probably be told that I over paid by 15k. Maybe not by you Berman, but you know what i mean. It's really low miles, not alot of options, but it has brand new tires, new window tint and it's in near mint condition. The passenger mirror has two small scrapes or dings and the front end has four or five small chips. Other than that, it's gorgeous and runs flawlessly strong. Came with all books and both keys and all the goodies in the trunk untouched. The TPMS is giving me some messages though. I'll get that fixed with the warranty.

Enjoy!

Very addicting lead footing that throttle when you can

I was thinking of getting another one, especially that one with < 9k miles and shrink wrapping it and put it into storage (after checking it out of course).
You did not overpay--You got a factory fresh, 8500mi, $200k exotic car for less than a new Avalon. That is a deal of a deal on a diminishing resource. When these cars are gone, they are gone.
