Is what you are referring to? This begins a valuable discussion.

Both Renntech and evosport, perhaps others, offer packages.

I know that colder air is denser air hence more hp. Call me old school, but such a system makes sense to me as a first step before pulleys and ECU work.

Are there any downsides to the sc cooler solution besides high price? If there are extra cooler radiators why is a high flow pump required? If one drives the car in winter is there a possibility of coolant freezing? Are phenolic spacers required?

I hope I can get some good feedback based on engineering facts. I know when I increased the density and speed of intake air into a normally aspirated engine it did improve HP and drivability.

same scenario with the supercharged application. I already have a kit i just want to see other pics of HE installs. I am running into a minor problem with the ABC lines in the front of the car on the front bumper bracket. i wanna see if lines were moved or if their kit fit correctly in place.

Grane,

I just got my car back from Eurocharged and just like you stated, the first mod i was going to to was the HE. I was told from them that where I live the stock HE would be sufficent and we just put the larger pump on ! I just did all of this you can see in my signature. It runs great, I haven't had any issues !

I was debating keeping factory HE but I live in Chas SC. We already facing 100 degree heat. I figured it would be beneficial to upgrade

I'll ask some of the techs around here what they think. It is very hot in the summer and cold in the winter in this precious corner of ctnyma.

Dumb question what sort of coolant does the sc system use? Anti freeze or water or some arcane MB juice?
