Hit Traffic Debris...AGAIN.
This month...is just not my month 
A week ago, I hit a truck tire in the middle of a freeway off-ramp and destroyed my Euroteck front lip and fog grill...
Yesterday night, I was driving in medium-heavy traffic on the 710 going about 60 mph when from the corner of my eye, I see something big and metal fall off this guy's truck, bounce once (shattered and sent pieces flying everywhere), and then BAMMM! Windshield destroyed....
I'm stayin home for the next 10 years...

saw an actual WASHING MACHINE fall out of a cats small pick-up truck just several days ago!!! I could not believe it!! it was brand freakin' new too! LOL...serves the jackwagon right for not securing it.....
also had to replace my windsheild on my 63 only after a WEEK! because of highway debris.......

All I seem to hit or miss are deer, foxes and raccoons.
I knew 3 folks who hit moose. One person survived with permanent brain damage.
Feel for you hitting the devolution and detritus as the Metro area decrepitates. The only good news is you can claim diminished value on your federal taxes, last I checked.

Call and say you have to report a glass claim, and ask if it will raise your rates. Normally the answer is no. Glass damage is treated separately from body damage, and often not subject to a deductible.
I have had two windshields replaced and one patched. No cost, no rate raise.

unfortunately Saintz, California laws don't work like that (I wish it did)....
I just had my insurance guy come by and check out the car and the rough estimate came out to be a little over $2700 o.O....$1220 just for the OEM windshield! Crazy! I had no idea they cost so much lol. But on the brighter side, they are covering for the full price of my Euroteck CF lip
