Need some wheel input guys!!!
Looking at Euro63RS wheels for my 2003 CL55.
The sizes they recomend for a CL55 are---20x8.5 +32 and a 20x10 +42
Any input on this? Or tire sizes?
Going to run lowering links as well

Common tires sizes for that set up is 245x35x20 front and 275x30x20 rear. I have seen people push the rear as far as 285, again it is also depending on tire brand and wheel offset. For example if you go with a Nitto 555, the Nittos run with a higher side wall, so if you have a 275 it kind of looks like a 285 on the Nitto 555. And if you have a Falken 452 tires size 275, the side wall curves at the top making look like a 265. With the Falkens you can go a little wider in the rears compared to other tire brands.
I am currently using Hankook Ventus V12, why I choose it... It has better grip for daily driving and I just liked the way the side walls and tread on the tires look.
Hope that gives you some idea.

So would you recommend a spacer in the rear with those?
I am trying to do as much research as I can before pulling the trigger.
Any input is apreciated!
I am using adjustableairride.com's lowering links. Not going any lower than than.

I found where threeMbs posted this
"The ideal offset for front (8.5" wide wheel) would be et33 (et30-et40 would work).
The ideal offset for rear (10" wide wheel) would be et38 (et35-et43 would work)."
This was in reference to a CL55....
Any real life input, suggestion etc would be great guys!

That is about right. But, with the +32 offset will sit pretty flush with the front fender depending on what tire brand you will go with. So, if you go to low when you drop the car, you will have rubbing issues when you turn or go up drive ways. As for the rear, if they have a +38 offset that would be the better bet to go. The +42 sits a little inside the fender, then again you said you will be lowering the car, I don't know how low you want to go, but I have a 20x10 in the rear with +35 and I rub just a tiny bit.

Ok good news.
Found a guy running the wheels!

Now is it just me or does it look lifted? Is the suspension raised? It looks horrible, I hope links would fix that gap

Nice, I have not experience the Michelin Pilots until we got our 2001 Sienna SE, I was pretty impress with those tires. The Sienna comes with 19's from the factory and wow, handling and comfort is awesome. These are great in the rain as well.
Yup, guy is riding pretty high. His settings are pretty high. Wheels in the rear look pretty flushed and look like if he lowered the car he will definitely rub.
What's up Brandon. Car looking good. What brand of tires are you using

1995E320 is running 35et up front and says he wanted to run a 5mm spacer which would put it at 30et....I want to run a 32et. So the fronts seem like they will work.
On the rears someone ran a 35et on a cl55 and it stuck out too much. This was due to cl55's having a longer axle width. So with a 42et I am hoping it will sit in the fender better.
Thanks guys for putting up with me! I have been pulling my hair out reading online and doing math etc!

If you had a +42 offset and say you got a 5mm spacer; your new offset will be 42-5= +37 offset. That's how it works.
As for the perfect offsets for the CL55, I am not sure.

I just got my wheels that are similar to the euro 63 but concave. I'm the perfect person for cl55 offset questions. I went through 3 sets of rims as a rookie not knowing anything about offsets. Learned the hard way. I'm running currently 20x8.5 35et in front and 39et in back 20x10. 245/35/20 front and 275/30/20 rear. Your offset really determines how wide you can go. It's extremely hard to fit rims for our cars due to our high offsets and calipers.
