CL600 visits the track: 12.2@116
I took my CL600 out for its first quarter mile passes last night, which unfortunately was very hot and humid, but at least the track was in nice condition.
Car ran consistently in the 12.2s with a best speed of 115.6
Every timeslip I see on these boards is from us old-man, grand touring 600 cars. When are some of you AMG sports car guys going to take yours out to the track???

Best launches were to do a little dry burnout/hop to clean the tires, then stage. Load the turbos up against the brake, but not enough to cause major wheelspin on launch. It's also hard to not let it push you through the staging beams if you're not careful!
After that, just hold on and eat your french fries or whatever you brought with you.

Still trying to determine if its worth it for the price... 3mph isn't that big of a deal.
Plus, if it dips into the 11s you need a 5-point cage, race harnesses, etc. Don't think I want to put a cage in the old CL quite yet :-)

Treynor runs in 11's, he doesn't have a cage in his car, does he?
I am only guessing that you would run about 11.5 with the Renntech Upgrade!!!
