2004 CL55 AMG for SALE
FOR SALE is my 2004 CL55 AMG.
The car has 78,xxx miles. Black on black.
I am selling it for 19,000 OR BEST OFFER. I am very negotiable.
This car is beautiful inside and out. Seriously. The paint is 8.5/10 because of minor rock chips and scratches. The interior is 9.5/10.
The car does have intermittent ABC pump issues. It will cost around 2,500 to fix which is why I am selling my car for a much cheaper price.
Also note, the car will come with a 1-year transferrable warranty from Easycare along with a 1 year transferrable warranty from Dent Wizard.
You can call me at (213) 220-8747 if you want more information, pictures, or have any questions.
I am also throwing in around 4-5k worth of mods for free. Just selling as-is NO parting out.
Euroteck Carbon Fiber front lip
Euroteck Carbon Fiber diffuser (1 OUT OF 10 MADE)
Euroteck Carbon Fiber trunk spoiler (1 OUT OF 10 MADE)
Euroteck Carbon Fiber side skirts (1 OUT OF 10 MADE)
6k HID headlights/6k HID foglights
LED interior including trunk and glovebox
resonator delete
35% tint all around

It could be $2,500 to fix the ABC or it could be $5,000+. I'd get the ABC issue fixed before you sell the car. Should be against the law to sell a CL with ABC issues. I spent a ton on mine before I sold the car so the next owner would not have any problems.

intermittent problems with abc are usually shock or valve block. about $1500-2500 either way.

Good luck to you. Most CL buyers that know the cars will not take a chance on a car with ABC issues. Sure, could be a control block but could also one or more bad shocks. If it's been leaking, there is a chance it could have been run dry and introduced metal particles in the system so the pump may be going too.
I think you would be better fixing the car since it would increase your odds of selling. Also, if you don't, it will make people question if it's going to be much more expensive to repair. Spend the $2,500, if that's the real cost, you will get it back quickly. My experience dictates that problems are usually much worse when a car is sold broken.

Btw, a shock is cheaper to replace than the tandem pump or a valve block.
