Just wanted to say that I had a good experience dealing with Jerry over there, and Adam, the guy who flashes the tuning software.

I was quoted at +40hp and +40tq, for the $739.99 which sounded good to me but the real benefit (IMO) is the added feel and throttle response. Feels very crisp and "clean" and even smoother transition from no boost to boosted when the SC clutch activates..

I'm sending the TCU module out to have the downshift auto blipping / rev matching done, so I expect that will be great as well. I'll report my findings in a couple weeks, as for now I want to play with the added power and control I have.

Anyone who is on the fence about doing a tune, GO for it! You won't be disappointed.

Look at the 30mph-60MPH times... Amazingly it dropped a few 0.10's off!!

I cant say good enough things about Eurocharged!! THANKS ADAM AND JERRY!!

I did not know the CL could blip the throttle on down shifts even with TCU tuning.

Just emailed EuroCharged and Jerry responded in minutes, awesome.......

Response from Jerry:

Not on the S55 or SL55 as these cars have ABC v. Airmatic. For some reason, only airmatic cars can do it.

I talked to the secretary who, when I bought the ecu tune told me they could do that. So I ordered the tcu tune.
Then While flashing the tune today I talked to Adam, who told me that the guy who programs the tcu modules will call me tomorrow to discuss the parameters I want modified. Hopefully there's not some mixup going on since I already payed for it based on that simple fact I wanted downshift blipping.. hmmm..

It won't make a difference at this point in time due to Speedriven has almost fallen off the map. Customers paid for parts but haven't recieved them. There is a thread about this.

That has nothing to do with the question I asked. I've had a great experience with Speedriven and they had a shop full of SL65's, SL600's, S65's, S600's, CL65's, CL600's etc when I was there in October when they tuned my car. Clearly your misinformed.

I've actually been considering that kit as well for my CL600. Do you know how much power you picked up? How about with 93 oct? Any time gains at the track from the upgrades?

Unfortunately not. I confirmed with AMG themselves, there is no way.
