thoughts on car and or price?
thanks in advance

Seems high for a branded Lemon Law car. There are nicer examples without issues for less. I wouldn't pay over $28k for the car. The warranty may be nice but that depends on if it covers the ABC system or not.

some random thoughts.
it is an 06 so it will be a bit more expensive than the typical 05 cl65.
also this car has been retrofitted with a different stereo. so.. somebody has been in there and played/ mucked with the electronics. i personally would not buy a cl that has had electronics intervention of any kind, but that is just me.
if the car was lemoned because of tranny and new one is in - no problems there. however, the stock tranny is very solid. if the original one failed, that might be because the car was driven hard/ abused.
the rims are junk and will bent. but it comes also with stock ones so this is good.
a stock unmolested is a $30-32k give or take.
if you decide to pursue it- have the car read and service history verified via das.
my offer would be 30k on this car.

i was thinking 32k max. i'm checking into what the warranty covers or should i say ... does not cover

Tell him 28k and he can keep those ugly *** pile wheels. Take it with the stock factory ones.

I would say with the buy back title you wouldn't want to spend much over $30000 for this car as you would have to work hard to resell down the road just like this seller is doing.

I have FULL JL Audio in my CL. Sub, down to every speaker. To the point I even had my 'Bose' door badges removed and replaced with JL Audio ones. Result: Best sounding music I've ever heard in a car

Correct, most times teenagers or early 20's guys retrofit modified stereos- Who also happen to drive the cars harder then normal, then possibly not keep up on maintenance 100%.
Stock is the way to go.
