Talk about a rotted car just sitting there for the past 6-7 years. Wonder what is about to start going wrong

Seems like an amazing car. I wish W215 AMGs held up their value like this. The mileage is stunning as well. I hope some collector buys it. This is the car that should go in MBs museum rather than be driven

That IS a w215 AMG, so yes, it IS holding (some value) - the reason the price is the way it is, because the car is practically brand new. Actually, just sitting there it lost $15,000 every year. So I'm not sure how good it's holding it's value. But it sure does seem like a amazing car. Unfortunately as awiner said, there going to be lots wrong with it unless it has been started and ran once a week, or properly stored (buel conditioner, drained and changed fluids at specific intervals, battery tender, etc)

Wonder why the CL65 badging is off. Perhaps the trunk's been repainted?

I wonder what they actually want for it seeing as its at $75K and the reserve isn't met yet either.

The badging looks correct to me.

By "off" I mean that it's not in the exact factory location.

Take a closer look at the dead rear view of the car. You can tell the spacing of the "CL65" is too far to the right and the "AMG" is also too far to the right. The space from the edge of the trunk to the "C" and the edge of the trunk to "G" are much different from each other. The badges on the back have been removed/ reapplied at some point in time. Either it was a debadge/ rebadge for the sake of debadging the car (but at 179 miles is this really the case?) or the trunk has been repainted and the shop didn't reapply the numbers in the exact factory location.

Edit: After doing some research of other W215 CL65s online, it appears that all cars have the factory badge slightly off center. It's just odd to me. The space between the trunk and C and G and the trunk are different on both sides. But all of them appear to be like that. So you guys can just disregard my gibberish.

I don't get it....
If this were an E55, same year, color and mileage, people on here would be selling it for over 40$K, near 50$K
If it was an SL65, again, same everything, you'd easily sell it for over 50$K
2002 G500 with nearly 90,000 miles can fetch nearly 40,000$!
So what wrong? The CL is rarer than the E and SL combined Especially a 65....What gives. Those rims are 10,000$ alone at the dealership. And the engine's worth....It's practically a brand new 65 AMG engine. You know how much they cost alone!? Why is everyone putting this car down? It is from a time machine. Was only driven 22 miles a year....that or just one trip that was not even 90 miles each way.
I hate how badly the W215 is frowned upon value wise. This was THE flagship car they made at the time (sans SLR) Now it's worth nothing...
There's a CL65 with 6X,XXX miles on eBay with the Buy It Now price of 30,000$ flat! Like WTF! Sad. You'll never see an SLS in 6 years for that price

I just realized it's 179 miles PERIOD not thousand miles. That's crazy. If it's legit then that's an awesome find because it's basically a brand new car.

Just saw the price, not worth it IMO. It's a new car but still for that much you can get a much better car.

It may be brand new in appearance but believe me the rubber, o-rings, etc. are well into the rotting process. Many times rotting occurs faster from sitting than actual use as well.

Please tell us which car would be better than a CL65 with 174 miles. GTR? Nope. More money and just as quick. New C63? Nope more expensive and slower. New Camaro or Cobra? Nope. More expensive and slower.
