The after pictures didn't turn out good, so I didn't post them.

It was basically after primary cats to mufflers, straight piped with H pipe.

Drive by videos are coming when it stops raining here.

Hate to say it but it sounds terrible. That's just my opinion.

I wanted this sound, I like it loud, thanks for your opinion.
The thread is mainly for people who are looking into doing this, to provide an example of what it will be like on stock cl55k.
Thanks

I like things loud as well but there comes a point when the "loud" becomes bad and abnoxious. Your car now sounds like a natives truck with glass pack exhaust from Canadian Tire. Its too bad. Maybe put one of the resinators back in...

It sounds much less raspy in person, I love the sound. I don't think I want to
put anything back on. Thanks for your concern though

what do you like of putting the eurocharged mufflers in place of the stock res right behind the tips?

Wouldn't be a bad idea. It would definitely sound more euro? I think my next mod will be headers.

Both my cats are gutted. The car shakes a little and idle and also is loud as ****. Beats spending 5 grand on cats though.

Wow. My car does not sound like yours though. That really doesn't sound good. In general I think the exhaust on all of the AMG V8 cars sound like complete ****.

I knew it would sound like this. Its exactly what I wanted.
I love it. Although the drone is something that will take time to get use to

Did you notice any difference in drivablility or any shaking at idle? Did you cut and weld in straight pipes in place of the secondary cats or gut them?

No difference in driving, shaking only happens when car is warming up on cold start.

I had it cut and welded with straight pipes from speedsyndicate.

Did you at least notice any increase in power?

It feels more aggressive but it's probably because I am driving it harder now then before. At slow speeds, it feels bit more jumpy but not over the top.

It would of been interesting a before and after dyno of the car to see if there was an improvement at all. One would think there has to be something there.

My car made 430 whp with a Eurocharged tune and no catalyst material in the primarys or secondaries.
