Hey Guys,
I have a CL600 with CL55 AMG Brake Kit front and rear. I was wondering if anyone on here knows what offset is needed to clear the rear brakes? I'm looking at a 18inch x 8.5 wheel to use at the track and want to pick the lightest wheel possible to do this.
19inch wheels will only clear the front 18s will be too small correct?
Thanks for all the help.

Is that a question or you are letting me know that factory are 18s. I had an SL55 AMG and it came with 19 inch wheels. I now have 20s on my car but have 2 18inch drag radials that I want to slap on some wheels which I won't have to use spacers for. This is why I'm asking what offset is for the rear. If 18 inch wheels will clear the 55k AMG brakes thn I rather go front and rear in 18 as a drag setup.
Thanks

Do you by any chance know the offset for factory wheels both front and rear?
Take a look at alloywheelsdirect.net. They've got offsets of pretty much every factory Benz wheel imaginable.

Except MY06, W215 CL55 came with 18" wheels. 2003-2005 with AMG big brakes had ET 44/46 front/rear
Offset doesn't guarantee brake clearance. The wheel face design does. People always get that confused.

That is why they have lowdisk, highdisk, etc. Although the stock was 46mm on the rear, my current ET 40mm (rear) could barely clear the brake.
