And your common wheels in horrible black is not my cup...

Car is sold since way back now and actually the Wheels is the only thing I was not 100% happy with.

Hey Chris,

What rims did you have originally in the first pictures before the modifications?

No. 22" of course. 20" looks tiny on W221. Or you mean the AMG ones that the car came with?

I'm rather late to this party but very impressive Chris!
You've given me a ton of inspiration, more so than I know what to do with.
Right now I don't have the guts to do anything to my CL but I sure am hoping I'll be able to leech some know-how from you experienced MB owners!

Could you be so kind as to post the name of LEDs you have used, xenon bulbs, and those that are in mirror caps.

Original LEDs has yellow-green shade and I am looking to upgrade mine, from 5k to 7k.

Looking straight forward to your reply!

MY NEW CL65 PROCECT!!-yg3hudn.jpg

DRL looks completely different. So it seems camera changed its white balance. The first photo is more realistic with yellow-green shade. Do you think it's possible to solder new LEDs and don't lose factory look?

First photo is a phone and second is a proffesional camera. I Think it looked more like the second photo. It was not that yellow in real Life.

It was ridiculously fast. Took some Porsches and Ferraris with it.
