Cl65/Cl600 as a daily?
I want to pick one up for the wife(mainly for me). She works from home and doesn't really drive much. How practical is the car for daily? She likes cl's or sl's(thats a no). Keep in mind she/we have an acura mdx she drives now. So in the winter she can drive the acura. Im not realy worried about it breaking because speedriven is fairly local. Just want your guys thoughts?

I say if its an extra car for you thn hell yea its the best idea. I bought my fiance the S550 but I always wanted one as a daily so its a win win for both parties.
Good Luck and post pics when you get one.
With Speedriven around te corner you are in good hands with that car

I your wife will drive the MDX in the winter the ar will only drive 5-6 months out of the year so you are all good. Warranty is great for me it was not worth it with all the mods planned for te car

Depending on the year of the CL65, the warranty will be non existent. Even if you can get a warranty, it will be very expensive and most likely not include the ABC; which, as everyone knows is the most expensive part to owning this car. More a car that hardly get driven, your warranty will expire before you get a chance to use it.
Just my $0.02.

Not good as a daily driver. It's just not dependable enough to drive every day. I used it for my daily for years but it cost a fortune to keep on the road. If you do around 5,000 miles a year, it's ok but not if you do 20 to 30k per year like me.
When the car is running properly, it is an amazing car. You can't beat the bi-turbo V12 engine. It's as smooth as butter but violent when you really get on the gas.

I drive my SL65 daily when the weather permits, and I love it, but I will advise it is expensive to upkeep, in 20 thousand miles I claimed 12k in repairs on my warranty, I still have another 30k 3 1/2 years on it. If you do buy one, get a good platinum warranty that will cover pretty much everything. Biggest expense out of warranty is to do the brake job.
Its a great car and I'm getting ready to buy a CL65 when I want that same power but want to seat 4, this wont prob be driven as much but the price the CL65s are going for now they are a steal.
Once my SL65 is out of warranty I'll prob do something crazy with it and buy another SL65 for another daily. Just make sure you do your research so you know what to expect.

I daily drive my '08 CL65 and will probably put 40K plus on it a year. I'm not worried about repairs and if you want to daily yours you better get a CPO and then get the extended warranty on top of that. I can drive up to 999,999 miles in the next three years. Luckily the pads and rotors were changed right before I bought it.

I drive mine every day and when it breaks I fix it. Just a little work here and there. When my Porsche gets running I'll sit the car and use the little monster as a daily driver.
