2001 CL55 AMG
N\A CL55 owners

I have had a 2001 CL55 AMG and am looking for other individuals with the N\A CL55 just to share insights & perhaps learn more about my vehicle. Don't seem to find much on the N\A versions, see a lot of videos and threads on the supercharged CL55's, not so much on the N\A CL55. Here is a few pictures of my CL55.

I have owned this vehicle for 2 years and it has 115k miles on it, this car is very fun and I can imagine that the supercharged version is even better, I have one issue with the ABC suspension but other than that it has been fantastic.

I concur. I too have a n/a 2001 CL55 and consider it a great car. I too would like to learn more about them since most of the threads are to do with the super-charged version.

Was a proud owner for 2yrs of a 2002 cl55. Bought in late 2006 and never a problem with it. Bought with a 2yr warr which was never used. Great car which I wish I still had today for a daily driver. Lost $20k in depreciation in 2yrs!!!! Sold in late 2008 for $20k. Went from 02cl55<05cl65<04cl500<05cl600

I will get pictures soonish. It has done about 140,000 km. I have owned V8s mainly of the Ford and GM-Holden variety. The CL for its price vs performance is very good value ($25,000 New Zealand dollars). I would not be surprised if the 5.7 0 - 100km is on the conservative side. Mine is a 2001 CL55. It is the family car plenty of room in the back for the kids and the boot is certainly big enough for a trip away. Once it has done its 'family tour of duty' I will get it freshened up maybe a minor restoraton. I have checked my VIN and is genuine AMG. When I first got it within 6 weeks replaced tandem pump, accelerator pedal and o2 sensor, but my indy said car in great condition (one careful owner). Looking forward to more information about the early CL55s.
