Upgrading transmission

Im going to go big turbos soon and just wanted to know what people where doing to them to make them handle 1000hp? Is it internal stuff or just jumping up main line pressures? I realize this is probably more info then most people know but I just want to start trying to figure things out.

2003 porsche 996 turbo
machine the inner housing for additional clutch packs, high stall torque convertor, upgraded valve body would all be needed for 1000 hp

Does anyone sell just the parts? Why do you need a converter or you just recommend it since going with big power means laggier turbos.

i tend to think in terms of drag racing as its my main hobby. torque convertor would help the car that is built with huge hp and has a large weight. bigger stall to allow more boost off the line to get the big car moving

btw bigger turbos don't necessarily mean lag. new generation billet compressor wheels, ball bearings can allow bigger turbos to spool like monsters. precision turbos can spool crazy fast. same for force performance or garrets
