Close but no cigar - No 10's for me.

Anyway, I was able to hook on 2 of the earlier runs which got me a 11.05 and 11.08.
Here's the 11.05 run against Steve's crazy Porsche. He was having much bigger issues than me off the line, but his trap speed was averaging around 130MPH. My best trap was 124 MPH. By the way, DA was -283' on this pass.

With trying to expand my business this winter I'm not sure if the CL is going to get any love at all so it may be running the exact same setup next year as I did this year. Wish I could help more.

boost-drop in your logs is normal for a ECU-tuned 65 with OEM-turbos. Around 15 PSI (boost) 29,7 PSI (absolute pressure) at redline is what you get from a good tune with stock turbos.

No problem. Thanks anyway Doc.
Thanks. How's the timing look to you? Conservative??

In dyno mode, as soon as I tried to do a burnout it would close the throttle and kill power. Then when I would try to put the car in 1st manually it wouldn't change out of D. It was very strange. I'm going to pull codes tonight with DAS and see if there's anything worth mentioning. The other odd thing is it wouldn't pick up tire speed during the burnouts. Maybe there wasn't enough water down for the burnout, or the car is acting up.
As for the sensors, I removed them from the stock air boxes and reconnected them.
Out of 7 runs I only had two trap speeds of 124 (124.38 and 124.00) and there were three in the 122's. I spoke with Tony at BIP today and he is going to add a little more initial boost and maybe a degree or two of timing. He thinks the slow burn of the MS109 didn't do me any favors.
By the way, my first two runs I had a trap of 119! WTF!! I started looking over the car after the second slow run and realized I only had 10 psi in the drag radials At this point I aired them up to 18 psi, added the MS109, and installed Doc's intake. On the next run my trap speed increased 5 MPH to 124. Crazy! I think the biggest impact was the tire pressure, but who knows.

By the way, are you the same "Hulk" from over on the LXForum?

Hi Anthony,
yes I think timing is a little bit on the conservative side.
But these ECU's are very smart. Even if you add some degrees of timing in the map - as soon as some little knock is detected or IAT went too high etc. the timing will be retarded.
Good luck with your runs.

its always good to have a race buddy who is a great racer that allows one to elevate the game
W/that great DA/cool air & your mod list, you should've been @ 126-127 mph... Edit: Viewed your vid w/slip, you're low end thru 1st 1/8's on PAR, though you're deff loosing hp on big end. You only gain 23.88 mph in last 1/8th mi.. You should see 25-26+ mph at the very least..

). However, we're both having issue. Steve should be running low 10's and I should be running high 10's. Hopefully we both figure out our issues and make some clean runs. If Steve could just get the Porsche to launch properly he'd likely be winning most runs.If I was trapping 127-128 as I should and Steve was launching properly, we'd be having some great runs. Regardless, it's all in fun.
