New CL55
While out working of an excess of turkey and dressing, I stopped by the dealership where I bought my lowly C230 coupe to look at all the goodies on the lot. They have a new CL55 still the the protective coverings. It is Brilliant Silver with Charcoal leather and Burl Walnut. It is the first CL I have seen up close. What a beautiful car.

Wonder what they are going to ask for the CL55 ...
The thing I have noticed about the CL's is that pictures do not do them justice. In person the car is totally awe inspiring...

I don't know how many CL's they sell here, but the few I have seen were going the other directionon the road, so I didn't see them for more than a few seconds. The only other one I have seen stationary was a black over black one at night in a poorly lit parking lot.

I LOVE THE CL55 or any CL for that matter
it will be one of my next cars to purchase hopefully in the next 2 months tho there arent many here in hawaii so i might have to go to the mainland and purchase one and have it shipped over..

actually, i may have seen the CLs before, but never up close. i saw one at the dealership too (just last saturday) and it was gorgeous. of course, i had to pick up a brochure (not that i can afford it, yet 
) but i couldn't quite get why it was so interesting. when i was looking thru the brochure, i got it. no B-pillar and the way the rear glass meets the roofline. very impressive design! my natural preference is for coupes and the CL is indeed a fantastic design. now i don't know whether to get the (new) SL or the CL in 3 years (for me)...
